Former NFL Pro Bowl OT says Titans' Cam Ward can be a 'great' quarterback
After a tough loss to the Jets, questions surround Titans quarterback Cam Ward and his future in Tennessee.
The Tennessee Titans' recent loss to the New York Jets has sparked discussions about the future of their starting quarterback, Cam Ward. Ward's performance in that game was uneven, raising concerns about his ability to run the offense and his accuracy. However, Terron Armstead of NFL on CBS remains optimistic about Ward's development, believing he has the potential to become a great quarterback.
Despite his struggles, Ward has shown flashes of talent, and the continued changes in play callers suggest that he is still learning the system. Comparing Ward's first 18 starts to those of other notable quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Young, and the Titans' former star, Steve McNair, highlights the challenge he faces.
As they prepare for their upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles, it remains to be seen if Ward can take a significant step forward.
