Florida football injury update: WR Eric Singleton Jr questionable for Auburn

Florida football's preseason injury report has led to uncertainty surrounding wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr.'s participation in their upcoming SEC opener against Auburn. Singleton, who transferred from Auburn to Florida, is marked as questionable by the Gators after suffering a lower leg injury during their season opener against FAU.

Defensive lineman Emmanuel Oyebadejo, a transfer from Jacksonville State, is also listed as questionable due to a lower leg issue he sustained in Florida's first game against Campbell. Both athletes were observed wearing protective gear prior to their respective team's second contest. Florida coach Jon Sumrall emphasized the importance of patience, caution, and proper recovery for both Singleton and Oyebadejo, stating that rushing their return could jeopardize team performance.

Singleton, who had a promising career at Auburn, caught 58 passes for 534 yards and three touchdowns. Offseason assessments ranked him as the fastest player on the Gators' roster, with a peak speed exceeding 23 miles per hour. Oyebadejo, known for his disruptive style, posted impressive statistics during his tenure at Jacksonville State, including six and a half tackles for loss and four and a half sacks.

Currently, Tai Buster (out), Joe Phillips, and Hunter Herring (questionable) are the only Auburn players without confirmed availability.
