Fidelity Bank opens 82nd Branch in New Sebrepor-Afienya, expanding access to banking services

Fidelity Bank Ghana has expanded its branch network with the opening of its 82nd branch in New Sebrepor-Afienya, Ghana. The new Afienya Road Branch brings the Bank's total number of branches to 82 across 14 regions. Located along the Afienya highway in the rapidly growing New Sebrepor–Gbetsile-Afienya corridor, the branch represents Fidelity Bank's commitment to providing accessible and quality banking services to emerging communities experiencing commercial and residential development.

Speaking at the opening, Divisional Director of Retail Banking, Godfred Attafuah, emphasized the importance of bringing the bank closer to Ghanaians in underserved areas. The New Sebrepor–Gbetsile-Afienya corridor has experienced significant economic growth driven by traders, small businesses, construction, young entrepreneurs, and families.

By opening this branch, Fidelity Bank is reinforcing its belief that customers should have access to quality banking services regardless of their location. The Bank's national network includes branches in communities such as Jirapa, Tafo-Pamkrono, Tanoso, Bibiani, Sefwi Wiawso, and Goaso, along with an extensive agency network of over 8,000 agents nationwide.

The new branch is Fidelity Bank's latest addition to its growing network, which reflects the Bank's dedication to serving customers throughout Ghana. The Member of Parliament for Kpone-Katamanso, Hon. Joseph Akwetey Tettey, welcomed the Bank's decision to establish a branch in his constituency, highlighting the positive impact on the growing population and business community.

The opening of the Afienya Road Branch comes as Fidelity Bank prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in Ghana, marking its growth from a discount house to the country's largest privately owned Ghanaian bank.
