‘Fans are going to get their money’s worth’: Pitbull Cruz focused on delivering the action in Nestor Bravo fight

Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz is set to return to the ring this weekend for a bout against Nestor Bravo. In a final press conference prior to the fight, Cruz emphasized the importance of winning this fight if he wants to secure bigger opportunities in his career. Explaining his motivation, Cruz said, "I can tell you it's a new era for Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz.

We are here, prepared for a new chapter of the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry. I can guarantee the fans are going to get their money's worth when they come to Pechanga Arena, when they catch the fight on TV. We're going to put on a show for everybody. You’re not going to want to miss it."

Cruz attributed this new chapter to the significance of this fight, stating, "Because this fight means a lot. Because this fight can be something that means a lot for my career and I have to win in order to go and face the big names." As for a potential future fight with Ryan Garcia, Cruz remains focused on Bravo, saying, "My mind is fully focused on Nestor Bravo right now. That's the only thing I'm thinking about. I want the fans to be the biggest winner of the night and to put on a show — that's all I'm thinking about."

Reflecting on his loss to Lamont Roach, Cruz noted, "I think I actually made the division learn a lesson as far as those that thought I was someone that [only threw hard punches] and came forward and someone that knew to do one thing. They were proven wrong and now I'm here to prove even more and to show them that Lamont Roach, as good of an opponent as he was, it was another chapter in my career."
