Chelsea midfielder Jordan Henderson may make his comeback against former side Brentford during a Friday night encounter, according to recent reports. The 36-year-old England international parted ways with Brentford after agreeing to a mutual release from his contract. Henderson's return to Chelsea is a possibility as he was recently seen at the club's Cobham training ground, as per football.london.
The midfielder, who played for Liverpool before joining Chelsea, is expected to be in fit condition to participate in the match against Brentford, as confirmed by Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso last week. Fans of Chelsea are eagerly anticipating a midfield pairing that doesn't solely consist of Reece James and Romeo Lavia, who have had mixed recent performances.
