Cresco Labs appoints former CBOE chief Edward Tilly to board

Cresco Labs, a cannabis cultivation and distribution company, has appointed Edward Tilly as an independent director on its board of directors. Tilly, a former chief executive officer of CBOE Global Markets, brings more than 35 years of experience in exchange operations, market structure, and global regulatory engagement. Under his leadership at CBOE, the company's market capitalization grew from approximately $2 billion to over $18 billion, and he expanded its operations to six continents.

Tilly also held board positions at the Options Clearing Corporation and the National Stock Exchange. Cresco Labs, which operates in the U.S. cannabis market, has built a leading branded portfolio and a retail platform that consistently outperforms its markets. Tilly's appointment is seen as a strategic move as the company seeks to capitalize on the expanding U.S. capital markets.
