Cortis' 'GreenGreen' tops 4 mln copies in sales

K-pop boy band Cortis has achieved a significant milestone with its second extended play, GreenGreen, surpassing 4 million copies sold in Korea this year, according to its agency. BigHit Music, the group's record label, reported that the EP has garnered over 4.1 million sales based on the latest figures from the weekly Circle Chart.

This marks the second time a K-pop act has reached the 4 million mark in the country this year, with BTS's fifth studio album, Arirang, being the only other release to surpass it. GreenGreen's initial success was evident in its debut week, where it sold more than 2.3 million copies. BigHit Music credits the EP's continued popularity to the enduring listener interest, particularly in the lead single "RedRed" and the B-side "YoungCreatorCrew."

The record's appeal has transcended borders, as GreenGreen debuted at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and has maintained a presence on the chart for 18 consecutive weeks as of mid-September. Cortis's debut EP, Color Outside the Lines, released in September 2025, has also shown strong sales, contributing an additional 1 million copies to its total sales for the year, bringing its total to approximately 2 million.
