Barcelona-based HealthTech startup Health Force has raised €4.2 million in Seed funding to develop enterprise-grade AI agents for hospital operations. Led by LUMO Labs, the round also saw participation from Step Venture, Next Tier Ventures, Target Global, and Calm/Storm. Health Force, founded in Vienna in 2022 by Fadi Haddad and Dr. Juan Suárez, aims to empower hospitals across Europe by automating tedious administrative tasks with AI agents.
These agents, pre-trained and working alongside hospital teams, manage end-to-end processes under human supervision. The technology is currently used for hospital-insurance operations, prior-authorisation checks, claims processing, regulatory reporting, and other tasks. With three out of four cases completed without human involvement, the remaining cases are prepared by the agents and handed to staff with only what needs checking.
Health Force plans to expand its agent catalogue to include quality reporting, clinical-trial operations, and resource optimisation, as well as grow its engineering and delivery teams, and enter Germany, France, and Spain.
