Grande and Chu were seen surrounded by custom artwork inspired by Dr. Seuss, which likely features the screenplay. The post offers a glimpse into the collaboration between Grande and Chu for the anticipated animated film, which was previously announced in July 2025. Grande and Josh Gad were previously cast as the film's stars, and they shared images of themselves recording with their scripts in July. Grande expressed her excitement about the project, stating that she loved the Dr. Seuss world and the creative individuals behind the adaptation.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! marks director Chu's first animated feature, as he directed the film alongside Jill Culton. The movie is based on Dr. Seuss' 1990 classic, telling the story of a young traveler embarking on a vibrant and unpredictable journey through life. The film features original music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen. J.J. Abrams is producing the project alongside Gregg Taylor and Dr. Seuss Enterprises, while Rob Lieber adapted the screenplay.

The release date for the film is currently set for March 17, 2028.
