Another Punjab District Gets Green Electric Bus Service

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz officially launched the Green Electric Bus service in Multan, riding an electric bus herself during the inauguration. The service commenced with 60 buses, and the chief minister highlighted that students, women, senior citizens, and individuals with disabilities would be able to travel for free.

She announced plans to expand electric bus services across Punjab, including routes to Bariyan in Murree. Maryam Nawaz also inaugurated a state-of-the-art cancer hospital in Multan, offering free treatment and a machine capable of treating cancer without surgery. Addressing law and order, she revealed her government's crackdown on gangsters despite legal threats, aiming to safeguard people, property, businesses, and families.

Maryam Nawaz criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for political activities in Punjab, noting a failed attempted attack. In response to criticism over her use of a Rs. 9 billion Punjab chief minister's jet, she clarified that the aircraft belonged to the provincial government, not her personally, and questioned the necessity of traveling to Multan by rickshaw.
