Aisha Buhari Visits Atiku

Former First Lady Aisha Buhari paid a visit to Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The meeting was shared by the former Vice President on his social media platforms. Atiku used the opportunity to express his concern over the hardships Nigerians are facing, stating that families are being burdened by the increasing costs of food, transportation, education, healthcare, and other essential items.

The Presidential candidate also pledged to create an economy that incentivizes hard work, restores opportunities, and ensures every family can live with dignity and hope. Speaking to the press, Atiku said, "Today, I was delighted to receive former First Lady Aisha Buhari. Her visit was warm and deeply appreciated. Beyond the courtesies of the occasion, it was also a reminder of the urgent responsibility before all who seek a better Nigeria: to put the welfare, dignity, and future of our people first."

Atiku highlighted the rising costs of daily necessities, stating that "across our country, families are being stretched by the rising cost of food, transport, education, healthcare, and other basic necessities." He promised to work towards easing the burden of Nigerians and "restore hope and Make Nigeria Affordable Again." Aisha Buhari, a staunch supporter of President Bola Tinubu, was accompanied by one of her daughters and some associates. The purpose of her visit remained undisclosed at the time of reporting.
