Zay Flowers' Injury Status Gets Update With Wednesday's Practice Availability

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is currently sitting out practice on Wednesday due to the hamstring injury he sustained during the team's Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The injury occurred in the second quarter while he was making his fifth catch. Initially, Flowers was listed as questionable to return, but he never returned to the game in the Ravens' 41-23 victory.

Prior to leaving, Flowers had an impressive performance, recording five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown within less than two quarters of playing time.

Reports suggest that this is not a long-term injury for Flowers, who recently inked a significant four-year, $140 million contract extension with the team. However, had this been a playoff game, the star wide receiver was reportedly expected to return to play. Despite his current health status potentially allowing him to participate in Sunday's game, the Ravens may choose to keep Flowers out of the lineup as a precautionary measure.
