Video: Woman clings to moving car bonnet after confrontation

A woman in Lucknow, India, found herself clinging to the front of a moving car after an altercation with the driver. The incident occurred near Janeshwar Mishra Park and was captured on video, which quickly went viral online. According to police, the woman and driver, identified as Shahnawaz Ali, had a prior relationship. The woman approached him while he was out with others, including another woman, and an argument ensued.

When Shahnawaz tried to leave in his car, the woman attempted to stop it by standing in front of it. Instead of stopping, the driver allegedly accelerated, striking the woman and dragging her along the car's bonnet. Witnesses recorded the harrowing scene, with the woman desperately holding on and shouting at the driver. Police arrested Shahnawaz and are investigating the incident, which has been compared to a similar case in Gurugram involving a woman motorcyclist.
