UAE is home: Pakistani expat retires after 41 years serving Ras Al Khaimah Police

Ras Al Khaimah: Retired Pakistani police officer Muneer Hussein Muneer celebrated 41 years of service with the Ras Al Khaimah Police Force on his final day in the role. At 60 years old, Muneer reflected on his long career and the many ways the UAE had become his home. As he looked back on his time in the UAE, Muneer expressed deep gratitude for the country that had been his home for almost four decades.

He credited his long tenure to his ability to adapt, respect all colleagues, and follow proper procedures. Over his four decades with the police force, Muneer worked alongside officers at all levels and was known for his professionalism and dedication. He made an effort to learn Arabic and understand local customs, gradually becoming an integral part of the community.

Muneer and his wife raised three children in the UAE, each pursuing their own paths before settling in different countries. His family remained a source of strength throughout his career. After retiring, Muneer plans to continue living in Ras Al Khaimah and start a new business venture. He remains committed to contributing to the country that has given him so much over the past four decades.
