Tropical Depression May Approach Japan’s Main Island During Long Holiday Period
A tropical depression in the Pacific Ocean south of Japan is forecast to turn into a typhoon later on Wednesday by 9:00 p.m. The storm may reach the Tokyo area and other parts on the Honshu main island during the long holiday period known as Silver Week, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
