‘The View’ Host Whoopi Goldberg Yells at Trump Over Kennedy Center: ‘Fix the War!’

President Trump's attempt to add his name to the Kennedy Center faced a setback when the venue's board voted to close down the main building. In response to the board's decision, "The View" moderator Whoopi Goldberg expressed her exasperation on Wednesday during the show's first Hot Topics segment. The program's focus on FBI hiring policies, including the removal of bestiality as a disqualification, left Goldberg and her co-hosts perplexed.

Goldberg lamented that "all of this insanity" needed to stop, before addressing the Kennedy Center controversy. She emphasized that the center is not Trump's to claim, urging him to "fix the war" instead. During a follow-up discussion, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin likened Trump's obsession to a child losing interest in his toy and storming off.

Goldberg countered by comparing the request to placing his name on a gravestone, questioning the timing. The hosts collectively pointed out that significant figures are typically named after their achievements posthumously, but Trump is prematurely attempting to claim the Kennedy Center.
