Thai father films blindfolded son riding and boasts boy’s clairvoyant ability

A Thai father sparked controversy after posting a video of his young son riding a motorcycle while blindfolded, claiming that the boy possesses a supernatural ability called clairvoyance. The footage, which went viral on Thai social media, showed the boy riding with his younger brother and father as passengers. His eyes were covered with a red cloth as he navigated the motorcycle for approximately eight kilometers.

At one point, the father demonstrated the boy's alleged clairvoyance by showing him a ping pong ball with a number on it, which the child correctly identified. Additionally, the father claimed that the boy could see a blue pickup truck traveling behind them. This incident was not the first time the boy had garnered attention online; in June 2024, the father posted a video of the boy riding a bicycle blindfolded, stating that his son could see objects from up to 300 kilometers away.

The recent video raised concerns among Thai netizens, who expressed worries about the safety of the family and other motorists due to the lack of visibility while riding a motorcycle without sight. Some social media users also alleged that the family had violated traffic laws by carrying too many passengers and not wearing helmets, while others questioned the boy's age and whether he held a valid motorcycle license.

Social media influencer Akarakit "Benz" Worarojcharoendet filed a complaint with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, requesting an investigation into the incident and potential legal action against the parents. However, the family has not commented to media outlets about the matter.
