Travis Kelce has a history of not taking kindly to NFL kickers and punters. This was evident years ago when he and Patrick Mahomes disrupted Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker during his warm-up routine. On Monday night, Kelce faced the Denver Broncos as their punter's pre-game warm-up was executed at the wrong time. The tight end demonstrated his resolve when he took matters into his own hands, as he witnessed the Broncos' punter sending balls in the direction of his Chiefs teammates.

Kelce's confrontation with the Ravens' kicker involved removing the ball stand during warm-ups. In the current scenario, Kelce was seen kicking the Broncos' punter's footballs into the stands as they were dangerously close to the Chiefs wideouts. Steve Coughlin explained that the receivers and tight ends were running routes on air with Mahomes and the quarterbacks, while the punts were coming over the 50-yard line.

Kelce's reaction to the situation was evident, stating that his eyes "lit up" when he saw the ball and that it went towards the Broncos' sideline. He caught his route, ran over to the ball, took the Broncos' ball, and punted it almost to the second deck.

Kelce's actions during the warm-ups could be seen as a form of gamesmanship, but there was also a sense of looking after his teammates. The last thing he would want is one of his Chiefs teammates being struck by one of the Broncos' punts. Following a similar incident with Tucker a couple of years back, it is clear for punters and kickers to stay away from Kelce.
