Strategic shifts at Roar Agile Roar Agile

Manila, Philippines — The communications group responsible for niche online publications such as Power Philippines, Powered to Wellness, Agri Tayo and Ang Minero has recently announced significant changes in leadership. Ricardo "Dong" Magsajo, a former automotive journalist and executive, has been appointed as the new editor-in-chief of Roar Agile Roar Agile, while Abigail Ho-Torres, a respected business journalist, has taken over as host of Power Podcast.

Magsajo's career in the automotive sector began at The STAR's business motoring section before he joined the Colombian Autocar Group as the marketing director for Peugeot Philippines. He later took on roles in business development, sales training, and media relations at Astara Philippines, which distributed four distinct automotive brands. Now, Magsajo has returned to editorial responsibilities, overseeing the diverse range of niche publications under Roar Agile Roar Agile.

Abigail Ho-Torres, an award-winning journalist and public relations practitioner, comes from a strong journalistic background having worked as a business reporter for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. As the new host of Power Podcast, Ho-Torres brings over two decades of experience in various sectors including media and utilities. Her return to the podcast promises to maintain the insightful content while also providing a more approachable tone that will attract a wider audience.

In terms of editorial changes, Roar Publications will make a concerted effort towards sustainability starting in the fourth quarter of 2026. The group is collaborating closely with the Society of Sustainability Practitioners Inc. (Sustainability PH), an industry association committed to promoting sustainability efforts nationwide.
