SONA Awards Week 2026 is set to honor Annie Lennox, Tom Morello, Desmond Child, Laurent Hubert and the creators of the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack. The festivities will kick off at Skirball Cultural Center on October 29, hosted by Bonnie McKee and Shane Stevens. The Sonance Awards, previously known as the Sonance Warrior Awards, aim to recognize songwriters, artists and their supporters.
This year, guests will stroll the black carpet, presented by TikTok and hosted by TikTok correspondent Daniel Wall. Additionally, five community-voted Emerging Songwriter Award recipients will be announced live, presented by YouTube Songwriters. Billboard will again serve as a media partner for the event. The event will also feature SONA CEO/co-founder Michelle Lewis, SONA executive director Erin McAnally, and SONA Foundation executive director Kellie Brown.
The Sonance Songwriters Summit will take place on October 28, featuring a keynote conversation with Kobalt’s Hubert. Tickets for the event are now available, with proceeds benefiting SONA.
