'Resident Evil' review: Officially the best video game movie of all time, but also Zach Cregger's worst
Zach Cregger's "Resident Evil" (2026) might not be his best movie, but this horror flick is plenty scary and the best video game movie of all time.
Resident Evil (2026) is the best video game movie ever made, according to Tom's Guide. The film, directed by Zach Cregger, has received a 4/5-star rating. While it may not be a perfect adaptation of the video games, it delivers an enjoyable experience, especially for horror fans. Critics have noted that the movie leans more towards comedy than pure horror, which may not satisfy all viewers. However, it's still a must-see for fans of the genre.
