A 14-year-old teenager was captured on video by social media for driving a car and colliding with two other vehicles before being stopped by the public. In Bukit Mertajam, police confirmed the video showed a 14-year-old male driving a car and colliding with two other vehicles in two separate locations at Taman Chai Leng, Perai. Senior Police Inspector of Subang Perai Tengah (SPT) Nik Aminuddin Raja Abdullah stated that the incident occurred at 4:50 pm last night, and the report was received at 8:47 pm.

"Initial investigation found that the teenager was driving from Lorong Kurau 23 to Jalan Kurau 1, first colliding with a vehicle parked on the roadside," he said. "He continued his journey before allegedly entering the opposite lane against traffic flow at Lebuh Kurau 5 and colliding with another car traveling in the correct direction."

Nik Aminuddin mentioned that the accident caused damage to all three vehicles, but no injuries were reported. He stated that further investigation would be conducted under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act due to reckless driving and endangering road users. Therefore, he advised the public not to speculate and to fully trust the police to conduct the investigation.

Additionally, Nik Aminuddin urged parents and guardians to monitor their children's activities and not to allow those under the legal driving age to drive vehicles.
