Quantum Valley Pakistan to open new pathways for youth, startups and high-tech businesses: Ahsan Iqbal

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated Quantum Valley Pakistan on Wednesday, emphasizing the project's significance in steering Pakistan towards technological progress and a knowledge-based economy. The event, held in Islamabad, was described by Iqbal as marking a new direction for the nation's future, showcasing the country's commitment to connecting young people with global technology leaders.

The launch ceremony included the signing of two agreements, one between Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) and Quantum Valley Pakistan, and another between Plug and Play and the newly established valley. These agreements aim to bolster technological collaborations and foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and high-tech business development in Pakistan.

Iqbal highlighted that Quantum Valley Pakistan would act as a bridge between Pakistani youth and global innovation hubs, creating opportunities for startups and high-tech businesses. He stressed that the country's youth, numbering nearly 60%, are a formidable asset with immense talent and potential, urging them to leverage their capabilities for national progress.

Iqbal argued that the 21st century's power lies in intellectual and creative capabilities, not physical strength, and that Pakistan must harness its young population to advance its economic goals. The minister stressed that achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047 is attainable with determination, innovation, and collective effort, emphasizing that a strong economic future is crucial for Pakistan's youth and national prosperity.
