Packers Coach Hints at Changes After Offensive Line Disaster

Cleveland, Ohio - September 21, 2025 - Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich has hinted at potential changes to the team's offensive line following their 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. The Packers' starting decisions at guard spots, made by Stenavich, were met with criticism due to the struggles of Donovan Jennings and Jacob Monk.

Stenavich defended his decision but also stated that the offensive line we saw in Week 1 is unlikely to remain unchanged for the remainder of the season. He added that a few players will be rotated in to find the best combination. Stenavich noted that starter Aaron Banks could return at left guard, upgrading one spot, while second-year lineman Anthony Belton might be pushed into the right guard mix.

Belton had started the offseason at right guard, but with Zach Bako-Bewele's availability uncertain for Week 1, the team began working Belton at right tackle more. Banks should return in Week 2, but the team might be considering a new starting combination if he plays or not.
