MEXC July–August Security Report: 38.66M USDT in Risk Funds Intercepted, Futures Insurance Fund Hits 792M USDT

MEXC, the leading 0-fee digital asset trading platform, has released its July–August 2026 security report. The report reveals that the company intercepted all 215 instances of risk-related funds during the period, totaling approximately 38.66 million USDT. Additionally, the Futures Insurance Fund reached a balance of 792 million USDT.

Throughout the month, MEXC assisted with 215 reports involving externally stolen or fraud-related funds flowing into the platform. Of these cases, 42 involved judicial freezes, marking a significant increase of approximately 2,971% from the previous period in terms of successfully intercepted cases. The value of intercepted funds rose by about 12,646%.

To combat such incidents, MEXC shared suspicious addresses with major industry participants and supported verification and freezing procedures under established cooperation procedures. The company also identified and restricted 20,752 accounts associated with risk-related activities, an increase of 118.03% compared to the previous reporting period.

Furthermore, the platform identified 5,288 risk groups, a 20.35% increase. The reserve ratios for BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC remained above 100%, with the BTC ratio at around 288%. The MEXC Futures Insurance Fund's total balance hit 791,696,422 USDT, marking a 5.44% increase. The fund's protection against negative balance risk is crucial during extreme market conditions, helping to minimize the likelihood of auto-deleveraging (ADL).
