Metallica Announces 12 Fresh Dates for 2027 North American Leg of M72 World Tour

Three years into their M72 World Tour, Metallica has announced twelve new dates for the North American leg of the tour in 2027. The announcement was made on Wednesday, September 16. The tour, which began in April 2023, will resume on May 8 at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The remaining dates take Metallica to locations including San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kansas City, Raleigh, North Carolina, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison, Wisconsin, and Cleveland, Ohio before concluding on June 19 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Limp Bizkit and Avatar are set to open the upcoming shows. As of now, the tour has played to nearly five million fans in 26 countries. Ticket presales for the new dates began on Monday, September 21 for the Metallica fan club, with further presales throughout the week, leading to a general sale on September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.

Metallica will also perform as part of the Life Burns Faster residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas from October 1 to March 13, 2027.
