Macklemore has pledged to donate $1 million from his earnings during Ed Sheeran's "LOOP Tour" to six organizations aiding the Palestinian people. In his statement, he emphasized that this donation is not about him or the controversy surrounding the tour, but rather the ongoing struggle for Palestinian freedom and safety. Macklemore invited New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who had pressured Macklemore to be removed from Sheeran's tour, to match the donation.
Kraft expressed agreement with Macklemore's stance, stating that while aid alone cannot solve the issue, immediate political change is necessary. Both Macklemore and Kraft emphasized their commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and their fight for liberation, despite differing opinions on other aspects of the situation.
