White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles underwent a medical procedure at the Mayo Clinic for her breast cancer diagnosis, multiple sources confirmed. The procedure, which took place earlier this week, resulted in her being declared cancer-free, as she announced on X on Wednesday. Wiles returned to work shortly after the procedure, conducting White House business, including making phone calls and attending meetings.

The White House did not provide a reason for her visit to the medical facility, which was outside Washington, D.C. Wiles, who disclosed her illness in March, noted that breast cancer affects about one in eight women and emphasized her commitment to continuing her work and serving her community. In her statement, she acknowledged that these women, like herself, continue to raise families, go to work, and contribute to their communities with strength and determination.

President Trump praised Wiles' medical team and her prognosis, describing her as having a "fantastic medical team" and an "excellent prognosis." Wiles, a political consultant from Florida, served as the campaign manager for President Trump's 2024 re-election bid. She is the daughter of the late football broadcaster Pat Summerall.
