Dennis emphasized the importance of the operation in managing human-elephant conflicts in the region. So far this year, 10 relocation operations have been carried out in Terengganu to protect public property and residents from potential risks posed by wild elephants.
More than 1,000 residents gathered in the area to witness the relocation of the elephant, which had been spotted wandering around Kampung Kolam. The crowds had been visiting the area continuously since Thursday after the elephant was first seen in the region.
