FGCU men's, women's basketball teams finalize 2026-2027 season schedule

Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) has announced the non-conference schedules for the men's and women's basketball teams for the 2026-2027 season. The men's team will begin their season on the road against Central Florida on November 2, followed by a home game against Florida International on November 13. The Eagles will also host New College of Florida on November 6 and play against UNC-Charlotte and Georgia State in the Fort Myers Tip-Off at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on November 23 and 25, respectively.

The season will culminate with games against Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, and Alcorn State in California, as well as visits to LSU-New Orleans and Tarleton State. The women's team will also start their season on the road, opening on November 3 against Indiana, followed by a home game against Arkansas State on November 7. The Eagles will also host Florida Atlantic on November 14 and compete against South Carolina on November 17.

Notably, the women's team will play eight non-conference home games, including a marquee matchup against Florida Atlantic on November 14. The Eagles will open their home season on November 7 against Arkansas State, marking a return to the Alico Arena after last season's national runner-up game.
