Fameye celebrates birthday with orphans at Village of Hope

Ghanaian artist Fameye spent his birthday in a deeply personal way, visiting the Village of Hope Orphanage in Gomoa Fetteh. The 'Nothing I Get' hitmaker chose to share the day with children who, like him, have experienced the loss of parents. Fameye, whose parents passed away during his upbringing, expressed how meaningful the visit was because he could connect with the children's experiences.

"I didn’t celebrate my birthday by asking for more. I celebrated by giving love to children who, like me, know what it means to grow up without a parent’s embrace," he noted. The musician saw parallels between his journey and that of the children, feeling grateful for the strength and progress he's made despite early hardships. "My story started with loss, but God gave me the strength to keep going, and today I’m grateful for how far He has brought me," Fameye added.

During his time at the orphanage, Fameye engaged in moments of warmth and companionship, reinforcing the message of value and remembrance for the children. He expressed a wish for those who feel isolated to receive love, hope, and reasons to smile.
