Ed Sheeran tour exodus: Finneas and three more acts quit after Macklemore axing over pro-Palestine remarks

British superstar Ed Sheeran's tour abruptly ended when three more acts, including Finneas, Aaron Rowe, and Beoga, announced they had quit. The decision came after rapper Macklemore was dropped from the "Loop Tour" over his pro-Palestinian remarks during a performance. Sheeran denied being responsible for Macklemore's removal, stating that the promoter, Messina Touring Group, ended his contract.

However, Macklemore confirmed that the promoter's decision was the reason for his exit. Sheeran's touring band, Beoga, cited Macklemore's silencing by "zionist lobbies" as the reason for their departure, emphasizing their activism for Palestinian justice. Irish artist Aaron Rowe also quit the tour, citing Ireland's history of genocide and forced famine, and his commitment to fighting Israeli occupation.

Sheeran himself had previously expressed his reluctance to comment on political issues, stating that venues threatened to cancel shows if Macklemore remained on the tour.
