Days after ED searches, Jarkiholi flies to KDP meet in private helicopter

Two days after alleging he had informed Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar about the identity of the complainant to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi clarified that he lacked specific information regarding the alleged complainants. "There is no concrete information regarding who lodged the complaint that led to the ED searches at my house," he told reporters in Belagavi.

"We are trying to gather some information about it and may get it after some time. But, as of now, there is no clarity. I cannot make allegations against anyone without proper documentation," he added.

Jarkiholi was questioned about whether the BJP was deliberately attempting to suppress leaders from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) community. He attributed such perceptions to recent incidents, stating that the main targets of Central agencies appear to be Opposition leaders, not the BJP.
