Darnell Wright is set to miss Chicago Bears' practice ahead of their NFL Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, due to a knee injury. Wright, who is in his fourth season with the Bears, was not part of the team's practice session on Wednesday. The 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman played for the University of Tennessee from 2019 to 2022, appearing in 47 games and starting 42 of them, amassing 2,746 offensive snaps.

In 2023, Wright was drafted by the Bears in the first round (No. 10 overall) and recently signed a four-year extension through 2031.
