An opportunity for Enzo Maresca to test his full Manchester City squad has arrived against Norwich City

Manchester City's manager, Enzo Maresca, is set to test his full squad against Norwich City in a third-round Carabao Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday night. Following their home defense of the Carabao Cup, Manchester City will face Sunderland in their next Premier League match on Sunday. Each of the various players on Manchester City's roster could be given an opportunity to start in the match, including Brazilian winger Allan, who has yet to feature for the club.

Ayyoub Bouaddi, a Moroccan international, is also expected to start in midfield, as he hasn't had the chance to start in English football yet. Both Gerónimo Rulli and Mateo Kovacic will likely also get their first starts for Manchester City in the Carabao Cup. On the wings and up front, Ryan McAidoo, Iliman Ndiaye, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and perhaps Ryan Braithwaite and Floyd Samba will compete for the roles.

Norwich City, managed by Philippe Clement, is expected to play attacking football and will pose a challenge to Manchester City. Their manager tends to use a 4-2-3-1 formation and has pace and quality in their ranks. Manchester City will need to be wary of Pacey Australian striker Mo Touré, who has scored four goals in six matches this season.
