AlUla extends lead atop First Division as three clubs claim first wins

With the conclusion of the fifth round of the Saudi First Division League, AlUla has solidified its position at the top of the table, boasting an impressive record of four wins and zero losses. The club showcased its dominance by defeating Jeddah 3-0, adding 3 crucial points to their tally and extending their lead to seven points. This victory marks AlUla's first success in the league, propelling them to the top with 15 points.

In second place, Al-Adalah secured their third point of the season with a narrow 1-0 win over Al-Saqr, handing their opponents their first defeat of the campaign. The win also lifted Al-Adalah to second place with eight points, just one point shy of AlUla's lead.

Al-Wehda, Al-Orobah, and Damac each claimed their first victories of the season in a round filled with firsts. Al-Wehda claimed a 4-2 win against Al-Okhdood, securing their first win after a string of draws. This triumph propelled them to sixth place with seven points, while Al-Okhdood remain ten points behind in tenth position.

Al-Jabalain, Al-Tai, and Al-Zulfi also achieved their first wins in the round, all securing a narrow 1-0 victory over Hajer. The result lifted Al-Jabalain to fifth place with eight points, while Al-Tai and Al-Zulfi share the seventh spot with eight points each. Al-Orobah also celebrated their first win, defeating Al-Jeel 1-0, moving them up to 13th place with six points.

At the opposite end of the table, Al-Jeel remains at the bottom with just one point after five rounds, while Al-Saqr, Al-Bukayriyah, and Al-Raed are still searching for their first win. The top scorers of the round include Diego Miranda (Al-Adalah), Joao Novaes (Al-Najma), and Ivo Ememe Christ (Jeddah), all with four goals apiece.
