PEORIA — The Peoria Rivermen have signed two young forwards, Carson Jones and Joowon "Timothy" Kim, for the 2026-27 SPHL season. Jones, a 25-year-old center from Eden Prairie, Minn., made his pro debut with the Rivermen last spring and is returning for his first full pro season. He played college hockey for Milwaukee School of Engineering for four seasons, earning captain status in his senior year, and also played two seasons of junior hockey for the Springfield Junior Blues.
Kim, a 5-foot-11, 181-pound left-handed shot from Vancouver, has extensive junior hockey experience, playing for seven teams across six leagues from 2021 to 2025.
