Young Nigerians in south-south can access free digital skills training and job opportunities through iDICE Programme

Young Nigerians aged 18 to 35 residing in the South-South region now have a chance to acquire practical digital and creative skills, gain job placement assistance, and explore financing options via the iDICE South-South Skills-to-Jobs Programme. This initiative, part of the iDICE Programme, aims to equip young people with market-ready skills and provide a pathway from training to employment, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.

Implemented by Wootlab and Synergy Prime, the South-South Skills-to-Jobs Programme specifically targets individuals living in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Rivers States. Beyond traditional skills training, the programme connects learning with income-generating opportunities. Participants will receive free, practical, job-focused training in high-demand areas, followed by job placement support to connect them with employment opportunities.

Successful participants will also receive a verified certificate acknowledging their acquired skills.

The programme, which is fully funded, does not require participants to pay tuition or registration fees. It is open to young individuals aged 18-35 who live in the six participating South-South states. This opportunity is particularly valuable for those seeking to develop practical skills, enhance employability, pursue digital economy prospects, or establish and grow an enterprise.
