West Bengal: BJP fields slain Suvendu Adhikari aide's mother for Nandigram bypoll
The Bharatiya Janata Party nominated Hansirani Rath for the Nandigram assembly seat bypoll. She is the mother of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's late personal assistant. The Nandigram seat was vacated by Adhikari after he won both constituencies. The Rejinagar seat bypoll candidate is former district BJP president Sarkar. Polling for these by-elections is scheduled for October sixth.
