Chippa United's decision to host some of their home games at Buffalo City Municipality Stadium has faced mixed reactions from fans. However, in the team's dressing room, a unique source of motivation has emerged: the OoSokhethabahle Traditional Group. Prior to their final warm-up matches before facing Mamelodi Sundowns, OoSokhethabahle were permitted to enter the Chilli Boys' dressing room during warm-ups.

Their presence injected an electrifying atmosphere into the room through their distinctive igwijo songs, energetic dances, and traditional instruments. This infusion of cultural pride and vitality clearly had a positive impact on the team, as both Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns were ultimately forced to settle for a draw in their final home matches.

Chippa's valiant effort, including Sirgio Kimmies' goal just 12 minutes from the end of regulation time, allowed them to maintain a 1-1 draw against the formidable Mamelodi Sundowns. Despite their best efforts, Chippa ultimately fell short by two points.
