Uganda will now take part in Prince Harry’s Invictus Games after reassurance from King Charles III

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are relocating to a new school in the United Kingdom because of security concerns. Archie, aged 7, and Lilibet, 5, were previously enrolled in school when their parents returned to the UK last month after six years living in California. The precise location of their new home and the school has been kept confidential.

However, on Monday, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the children were switching schools after just two days. The decision to change schools was made following a discussion with the family's security team about the current arrangements. The parents expressed their gratitude to the school staff for the care and support they have provided to their family, stating that the decision does not reflect on the school or the children's experience there.

The distance between the family's home and the original school raised security concerns due to heavy traffic in the area. This news follows King Charles III's letter to senior government officials, stating that Harry and Meghan will not undertake royal duties upon their return to the UK and will not use their royal titles. The letter was released ahead of a meeting of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, which is responsible for allocating royal security.

Officials indicated that a new assessment is required now that the family has returned to the UK. Harry's state-funded security was removed when he moved to California, and he faced several unsuccessful legal attempts to have it reinstated. The King's letter reiterated that the couple's royal titles are "in abeyance and are not used" and that they are private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.
