Trump says countries that have been 'no help' should reimburse U.S. when Iran war ends

President Donald Trump has asserted that nations which have been of no assistance should reimburse the United States upon the cessation of the Iran war. The U.S. has been seeking international collaboration to restore unimpeded transit through the vital Strait of Hormuz. Trump conveyed these sentiments through a post on his social media platform on Monday, as South Korea was mulling the deployment of its military forces to aid in securing the waterway, a vital trade route for oil, natural gas, fertilizers, and other goods, which Iran has effectively blocked during the conflict.

Oil continues to flow through the Hormuz Strait. Trump, who misspelled 'conflagration' as 'confligation' in the post, emphasized that the entire world, lacking any support for the U.S., will be required to compensate the United States once the 'SCAM Confligation' concludes. He reiterated that the U.S. has been far more altruistic than others, a position held for generations.

Trump did not specify any particular countries by name. In April, Trump had singled out South Korea, suggesting that the Asian ally had not been particularly supportive.
