Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has expressed his surprise at President Bola Tinubu's transformation from the person he was known to be as Lagos State governor. In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Dalung pointed out that many Nigerians voted for Tinubu during the recent election not due to their love for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but because they believed he could replicate his success in Lagos State, which they viewed as one of the major economies in Nigeria.
However, according to Dalung, Tinubu has since become "very parochial and has lost focus, so full of himself."
