Substance from Toronto linked to surge of drug poisonings in Kenora, Ont., area
Health-care professionals are scrambling to support the most vulnerable people in the Kenora, Ont., area following a surge of more than 60 drug poisonings over a two-day period. The Northwestern Health Unit issued drug alerts on Thursday and Friday, the latter prompted by a substance first detected in Toronto in late April. Here's more about the situation.
