President Sheikh Mohamed and Syria's Ahmad Al Shara discuss economic ties in Abu Dhabi

President Sheikh Mohamed met with Syrian President Ahmad Al Shara in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to bolster bilateral ties. This meeting occurred during President Al Shara's visit to the UAE, where he attended the 24th Arab Media Summit in Dubai. The two leaders expressed their dedication to enhancing UAE-Syria relations, emphasizing economic recovery and development initiatives that benefit both nations.

A key aspect of their discussions was a recent UAE economic delegation's visit to Syria, which the leaders considered a vital step in creating frameworks for economic revival. Both sides acknowledged that this visit helped establish the groundwork for strategic partnerships and projects in line with their respective development objectives.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude to President Al Shara for accepting the invitation to the summit, which acts as a crucial platform for media professionals and policymakers throughout the Arab region. He expressed joy at Syria's return to the path of development and anticipation for Syria's emergence as a global power deserving of respect, as well as the deepening of fraternal relations between the two friendly nations.
