Police search for missing East Jerusalem woman, fear for her life

On September 13, a woman participated in the TriFactor Duathlon at East Coast Park, only to be left with severe injuries after a collision with another cyclist. The incident occurred during the cycling segment of the race, around 9:30 am, when a male rider allegedly overtook the victim from the left, causing the accident. The woman's sister, Sushi Phine, posted on Instagram about the event, seeking witnesses to identify the culprit for a police report.

Sushi shared photos of her sister's bloodied face and bruised body, as well as an Instagram story detailing her pain and injuries, including a thrown bike and blood on the ground. Her family has asked her to return to Kuala Lumpur to seek care, while her condition remains of concern. TriFactor Duathlon management confirmed they were aware of the incident, stating that their safety and medical teams responded promptly, adhering to established protocols.

They emphasized that all standard operational controls were fully executed with no operational lapses. The organizers expressed their intent to cooperate with the investigation to ensure a proper resolution.
