Seung Ji-soo, Vice Chairman of the Korea Times, was seen applauding alongside other dignitaries and speakers during a VIP session prior to the 2026 Korea Times Global Conference held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in Seoul on Tuesday. Notable attendees included British Ambassador Colin Crooks, President of Seoul National University of Science and Technology Kim Dong-hwan, and Presidents from Jeonbuk National University, Sungkyunkwan University, Ewha Womans University, Sangmyung University, and Chonnam National University.

The event showcased a diverse group of leaders, with the National Assembly's Education Committee Chair Rep. Kim Hee-jung and Sookmyung Women's University President Moon Si-yeun also in attendance. Korea University President Kim Dong-one and Chonnam National University President Lee Keun-bae were among the prominent figures present.
