Noel Gallagher Says Oasis Knew They’d Tour Again — But Don’t Expect New Music

In a recent interview with talkSPORT, Oasis guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher revealed the pivotal moment that confirmed the band's decision to embark on another tour in 2027. "It was after about the second Wembley show (on July 26, 2025)," Noel stated. "Nobody really knew what was going to happen… or how it was going to go.

So we did Cardiff and Manchester, then by the time we got to Wembley, somebody said 'Well, you know?' and it was decided we were going to do it." The guitarist further disclosed that the brothers Liam and himself were on board with the idea, as they had always received great support from fans in Italy, France, Germany, and Spain.

The band subsequent confirmed their upcoming "Live ’27" tour on September 14, 2025, which will comprise 38 shows starting in Glasgow’s Celtic Park in May and continuing through performances in Manchester’s The Etihad, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston’s Gillette Stadium, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, and Slane Castle in the Republic of Ireland, concluding with four shows at Knebworth House in Stevenage, England.

Gallagher revealed that they were initially only scheduled to visit four North American cities during their first tour but decided to add Boston and Las Vegas for the second round as they believed those cities were "meant to be" during the previous tour. When asked if the band would continue with this new tour schedule, Noel replied with a "I dunno" and that the venture would not be accompanied by any new music, as they are not planning to release a new album following their previous LP "Dig Out Your Soul" in 2008.
