Nigerians in Diaspora Can Return, Invest and Contribute in National Devt, Says Obi

Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has advocated for a nation where Nigerians living abroad can comfortably return to invest and contribute towards the country's development. During a recent meeting with young Nigerian professionals in Washington, D.C., United States, Obi outlined his vision for Nigeria, emphasizing that those in the diaspora should be seen as integral to the nation's progress, not merely as individuals who have left.

Obi stressed that Nigeria should foster an environment where its youth do not feel compelled to leave in pursuit of their aspirations, and where those already abroad feel secure in returning to contribute to the country's growth.
