NFL announcer assignments for Week 2 games revealed

The NFL has announced the Week 2 announcer assignments for upcoming games. JJ Watt will continue to partner with Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson on CBS for their top team coverage. Tony Romo, currently on leave, will not be returning for Week 3.

On September 20th, CBS will broadcast the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots game, with the same announcer trio of Jim Nantz, JJ Watt, and Tracy Wolfson. The Detroit Lions will face the Buffalo Bills, with Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit, and Kaylee Hartung as the announcers on Amazon Prime at 8:15 p.m. Eastern time.

The Minnesota Vikings will take on the Chicago Bears on September 20th, with Joe Davis, Greg Olsen, and Pam Oliver at FOX for their 1 p.m. broadcast. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Tennessee Titans on the same network at the same time, with announcers Adam Amin, Drew Brees, and Kristina Pink.

Jim Nantz, JJ Watt, and Tracy Wolfson will once again serve as the announcers for the Green Bay Packers vs. New York Jets game on September 20th, airing on FOX at 1 p.m. The Cleveland Browns will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on CBS at the same time, with Tom McCarthy, Robert Turbin, and Tiffany Blackmon as the trio.

On September 20th, the New Orleans Saints will host the Baltimore Ravens on CBS, with Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, and Aditi Kinkhabwala as the announcers. The Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans will face off on CBS at 1 p.m., with Kevin Harlan, Trent Green, and Melanie Collins as the team.

The Carolina Panthers will take on the Atlanta Falcons on FOX at 1 p.m. on September 20th, with announcers Tim Brando, Matt Millen, and Sarah Kustok leading the coverage. The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Denver Broncos on CBS at 4:05 p.m., with announcers Ian Eagle, Ross Tucker, and Evan Washburn.

The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Los Angeles Chargers on CBS at 4:05 p.m., with announcers Andrew Catalon, Logan Ryan, and AJ Ross leading the broadcast.
